Duluth Urban Landuse Intensity

This project created a high resolution (3 m) map of urban land use intensity for watersheds on the Minnesota side of the St. Louis River Estuary. The urban land use intensity index is based on LiDAR data and 3" color infrared photography, and summarizes development in terms of building height diversity, amounts of impervious surface, and green infrastructure. This work was funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Office for Coastal Management.
